Dr. Kevin is a New England professional who over the last 30 years has specialized in treatment for individual’s and families who are experiencing personal impacts associated

with mind/mood altering chemicals, substance use disorders, underlying anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress and anger/rage difficulties.


Kevin incorporates an array of evidence-based treatment modalities,: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectal Behavioral

Therapy (DBT), Rational Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Seeking Safety & Trauma Focused Therapy, Matrix Model and 12-Step Therapy (Dr. Bob and Bill W.Personal Development

Model. Dr. Stewart also was recognized by the CENAPS Corporation as an Advanced and Brief Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist.


The National Association of Forensic Counselors recognized Kevin as a Certified Clinical Criminal Justice Specialist (CCCJS), Certified Domestic Violence Counselor - III

(CDVC III), Massachusetts Diplomate. Dr. Stewart was the NAFC, 1999 Counselor of the Year and elected to their Board of Governors - 1999 – 2008. The National Board of

Addiction Examiners recognized him as a Certified Doctorate Addiction Specialist (DAC). The National Board of Cognitive Therapist recognized him as a Certified Cognitive

Behavioral Therapist (CCP). Dr. Stewart served on the item test review committee for the re-development of the National Board Examination Test for the National Board of

Addictions Examiners.


Kevin received his Master and Doctoral in Psychology degrees from California Coast University.


In the state of Massachusetts Kevin is currently recognized as a independent Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor (LADC-I), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor

(CADC-I) and a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor.
