About 413Therapy Group
Licensed Online Therapists in Massachusetts & New England
413Therapy Group is a women-owned and operated group therapy practice based in Western Massachusetts. Though we have expanded over the years, we remain committed to the warmth, attentiveness, and personal connection that define a small private practice.
Our mission has always been to make high-quality therapy more accessible to our local community and beyond.

Where We Began
413Therapy Group was established by Amy Neumann, LICSW, and Elissa Noonan, LMHC.
Amy and Elissa first worked together at a community-based mental health clinic before opening their own individual private practices.
Both quickly encountered the same challenge: They were receiving more calls and emails each day than they could respond to, and many people shared how difficult it was to find a therapist with openings, let alone finding one who responded at all.
Recognizing a clear need for more available, responsive mental health services, Amy and Elissa combined their practices and founded 413Therapy Group, Inc.
The practice began in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, later expanding to include a second office in Springfield, Massachusetts.
When the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, 413Therapy Group transitioned fully to telehealth, a shift that expanded access for clients and offered flexibility for clinicians. While limited in-person appointments remain available in East Longmeadow, telehealth continues to be the primary way we serve clients across Massachusetts.
Who We Are Today
413Therapy Group blends the individualized feel of private practice with the support and resources of a collaborative clinical team.
Each therapist brings unique training, experience, and therapeutic style, allowing clients to find a provider who aligns with their goals, preferences, and comfort.
Our approach is grounded in human connection. We believe therapy should be personal, supportive, and centered on genuine communication, not automated processes or impersonal systems.

What’s in a Name?
The name “413Therapy Group” reflects our roots in the Western Massachusetts “413” area code. When the practice began, Amy and Elissa couldn’t have anticipated how quickly it would grow beyond the local region.
During the redesign of our logo and branding, we took time to reflect on our values, where we began, and how we wanted to represent the practice as it continues to expand.

The Meaning Behind Our Logo
The Hummingbird
The ruby-throated hummingbird symbolizes joy, resilience, healing, and hope–qualities we aim to cultivate with our clients. This species also appears throughout Massachusetts from spring through fall, making it a meaningful regional symbol.
The Compass
A compass provides direction and support, helping guide you toward your destination without dictating your path. This mirrors the therapeutic relationship.
The highlighted Northeast point is a subtle nod to our origins in Massachusetts and the greater New England region.
The Colors
The blue and green palette was inspired by the New England coastline, particularly The South Shore and Cape Cod, places that hold personal significance for Amy and Elissa.
The circular lines surrounding the compass echo the hummingbird’s often challenging, winding flight path, representing perseverance and growth.
